Kettles In Staterooms.

 Did I read somewhere that Princess are now putting kettles in staterooms. ? If so does anyone know if there will be any on the Emerald in the summer . Thanks in advance.

I believe this is only the case for select cruises out of Southampton. Possibly on Japanese cruises. Most Princess cruises will definitely not have kettles.

No they are still a banned item on Princess.

Yes Princess supplied them, along with the make-ings, on our last cruise out of Southampton. Perhaps it's a move to lessen the demand on room service !

There was a kettle in our cabin on Sapphire for our 50 days through to Singapore last year.

They are banned if passengers bring them on board - as they should be.

Princess supplied kettles will be maintained by ships staff & electricians.  That is the difference.
