Waycoolrob Posted March 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2019 We are bringing our son on Allure with us, who is an active duty U.S. Marine and near 21. While on a NCL ship last year I noticed that I could sign a waiver for kids who are over 18 to purchase beer and wine. Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean has this policy. Thanks in advance WCR
Merion_Mom Posted March 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Awesome thread title! Bravo! No, the ability to sign a waiver for an underage son or daughter disappeared many years ago. He will have to do his drinking in port.
matj2000 Posted March 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Just give him drinks and be discreate about it. Nobody will care or look twice. Except the busy-bodies on this website....

And I'm pretty sure that Rob was looking for the policy, not your opinion on the policy or on underage drinking.

PLUS, an active duty service member can receive significant disciplinary actions for underage drinking (don’t ask me how I know)!

The emailed statement did not itemize the drinks at all. If you think you're close it probably wouldn't take much to count up the drinks while on the cruise and multiply it by an average price. If it's too much effort to keep track you're probably all set. HUH-WHA????
