Rare terrydtx Posted March 18, 2019 #12 Share Posted March 18, 2019 Copper, Are you in a Neptune Suite? Looks fantastic, what ever class it is, but the verandah seems a little small. Looking forward to your posts here. I love your itinerary too, it is what we will do if we do another Caribbean cruise in the next few years, it is very similar to our first HAL cruise on the Volendam in 2005.

Hi Terry, yep it (the suite + the verandah) are a tad smaller than the Neptunes on the "S", "R", Vistas and Signautures, but still nice. Rare Copper10-8 Posted March 18, 2019 Author #17 Share Posted March 18, 2019 Had an excellent dinner and service at K-dam's (and HAL's) new dining venue Club Orange on Deck 2 with its enhanced dining room menu. Right behind it is Blend where you can experience the art of wine making by Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington State’s oldest and most acclaimed winery. As of right now, it is the only purpose-built wine-blending venue at sea with a tasting table that accommodates ten passengers who can create their own blend from a selection of five barrels of single-vineyard red wine
Rare Copper10-8 Posted March 18, 2019 Author #18 Share Posted March 18, 2019 Koningsdam very cool looking three-deck central atrium along with its airy stainless-steel sculpture representing the synthesis of a string quartet. Four of K-dam's thirteen decks are named for composers; Schubert, Mozart, Gershwin and Beethoven
Rare Copper10-8 Posted March 18, 2019 Author #19 Share Posted March 18, 2019 After dinner, we really enjoyed the B.B. King All-Star Band, K-dam's eight-piece music ensemble that includes two vocalists backed by a six-person rhythm and horn section who were "rocking out the joint" in the expanded Queen's Lounge. Had a tough time finding two seats for their first set at 8:45 PM
Rare Copper10-8 Posted March 18, 2019 Author #20 Share Posted March 18, 2019 (edited) So, after the BB Kings were done with their first set, we hopped over to the nearby Rolling Stone Rock Room were a five-piece band was kicking out four decades of classic and iconic rock. As with the BB Kings, a very popular venue tonite The band's rockin' female drummer! They finished their first set with Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing" "We gotta install microwave ovens, custom kitchen deliveries............." Rare Copper10-8 Posted March 18, 2019 Author #21 Share Posted March 18, 2019 K-dam's "Main Stage" (main show room) with its two-story/deck, 270-degree wraparound LED screens was dark tonight however tomorrow (Monday) will host the first of three production shows "Humanity" Private box, anyone? However, be advised that box five will remain empty for "his" use and also a reminder that "his" salary is due"

Blend is much different than it was last September when it was a large dining table. I imagine this will be less intimidating and more people will enjoy this. Your balcony does look small for a NS.
