cindik Posted March 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Need help choosing a cruise for Sept. 2020. Breeze or Harmony of the Seas. Only difference in itinerary is Coco Cay on Royal and Belize on Breeze. Both go to Roatan, Cozumel, and Costa Maya. The price is essentially the same. We have ever only cruised on Carnival. If you have cruised on either or both ships, please give me your opinions!
Palmetto Pilot Posted March 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Harmony for sure.
MrFunInTheSun Posted March 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2019 Harmony of the seas. check out my below Harmony of the seas trip report with lots of pictures. Check our the below trip report on Symphony of the seas that visits the same ports your looking to visit.
Jerseygirl1416 Posted March 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2019 I’ve been on Breeze and Oasis. I loved the Breeze but Oasis is my favorite ship. You can’t go wrong with either ship but I’d go with Harmony if you haven’t been on an Oasis class ship yet.
30scruiser Posted March 26, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2019 Can you tell us more about your priorities? IMO (included) food is much better on Carnival but entertainment is significantly better on RCCL. I do think it’s surprising that they are the same price and would probably pick Harmony. mrpayroll Posted March 27, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2019 Been on both, and as much as we liked the Magic I would have to pick Harmony.

cindik Posted March 28, 2019 Author #8 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Well, as much as I would love Harmony, I ended up booking Breeze. Mainly because that would be the 3rd. Cruise booked for 2020, and the Saturday to Saturday sailing allows us to drive to Port Canaveral. Saves airfare 😀!
mpdog42 Posted March 28, 2019 #9 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Harmony!!!

Similar priced sailings makes Harmony a total no brainer. Carnival is a better choice when it's much cheaper, it's a value line. To pay the same as the second best ship in the world, Harmony, well that's crazy talk!
Rare Tapi Posted March 28, 2019 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2019 (edited) I would’ve spent extra on airfare to go on Harmony for sure (or driven the extra 2-3 hours). We sailed on Dream (Breeze’s sister) and Allure (Harmony’s sister) within months of each other. Dream was a good cruise. Allure was a “WOW!” cruise: if Breeze and Harmony are priced the same, that means that Breeze is overpriced or you are getting a killer deal on Harmony. Either case, I would’ve picked Harmony without a second thought. Edited March 28, 2019 by Tapi
Butterbean1000 Posted March 28, 2019 #12 Share Posted March 28, 2019 I'll be the lone vote for the Breeze. The mega ship's just don't appeal to me. But which ever you choose, enjoy your cruise!
Rare jimbo5544 Posted March 28, 2019 #13 Share Posted March 28, 2019 I really do not want to degrade the thread but I have been on both as well, and was def not wowed by our Oasis cruise (still very enjoyable without doubt), so much so as we walked off and saw the Freedom next door we both looked up and said....we are coming back (to Carnival). So.... I guess you will not be the lone vote......
