Inspiration elevator, stuck passengers, kicked off ship

Still "an assumption" unless you could read their name tags but trying to find them onboard is stalking and really not okay.

Sweet justice is that if they did damage the doors that Carnival would not only ban them for life but send them a bill for the repairs.

If they were banned just for filming the incident, then I think it's harsh.  If they were banned for acting up and disregarding instruction and jumping in the elevator, then I don't have a problem with them being banned.

A safety feature of elevators.  The elevator senses an "overspeed" condition and stops until a technician can come and address the issue.  I've seen this before.

Even if there were passengers on that elevator who did things that would justify banning them, was it every passenger?

 

Maybe the moral of the story is use the stairs!

Sounds and looks to me like the passengers were the ones out of line here.
