rockchk31 Posted April 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2019 Hi, question for Stugeron users...do you take your first 2 tablets 2 hours before you get on the ship or 2 hours before the ship is due to sail?? Leaving tomorrow on Azura and seems it could be a little rough with this stormy weather!
Misself Posted April 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2019 I think it would be 2 hours before due to sail. I personally didn't get on with Stugeron..it made me really drowsy and I fell asleep in the ships cinema ;-). I use Kwells which you can take last minute and for me doesn't make me feel drowsy. Have a great cruise and hopefully the weather will be kind (and you miss Storm Hannah).
leaveitallbehind Posted April 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2019 Never heard of this product before, but it's amazing what google will tell you..... Stugeron 15 should preferably be taken after meals. The tablets may be sucked, chewed or swallowed whole with water. Adults and children over 12 years: take 2 tablets two hours before travelling and 1 tablet every eight hours during the journey. I would say from that it should be before the departure time, as that is when any motion would commence.
Aplmac Posted April 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2019 The one time I took one of those chemical things it had me so hung over, next day I didn't even want to get off the ship at St. Lucia! - I was drugged! Never again, I swore. Now I walk with a 6-pack of Ginger Ale and a bunch of Ginger cookies and that seems to work for me, if/when the going gets rough/or not! . Everyone needs to do what works for them. If I was to rely on ginger (in any form); it would be a passing relationship as it entered and then rapidly left by the same route. Unfortunately, with seasickness remedies, it's often a matter of trial and error before finding one that best meets your needs. 1
