Twice_a_year Posted May 1, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2019 What is the advantage(s) if any of a C1 to C3 to justify the price? Is it limited to location?
Rare ghstudio Posted May 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2019 (edited) yes....it's cabin location and perhaps a slightly larger balcony. There are no extra perks for being in a C1 vs a C2/3. I believe there are also four C1's on the 6th deck that have wood floors on their balconies, but lack the rear location. screwsmcernst Posted May 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2019 We usually sail in C3. The difference between the 1,2 & 3 is location and balcony size. Our next cruise, we are in a C1. It is aft facing with a larger balcony. The perks are all the same.
emairs Posted May 1, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2019 The aft C1’s on M class have huge balconies. We have had them several times, and again later this month on the Constellation. Can’t wait!
Spender Nui Posted May 3, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Yes approximately 200 S/F blocky size. Sailed from LA to Hawaii and back in one of them and loved it. We preferred them to suites and took them often. Also the FV cabins have the large balconies and the end ones are larger yet. If you can grab a C1 take it. RodPat Posted May 3, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2019 We love the C1 balconies as we love to watch the wake of the ship. The balcony is 10 ft. by 20 ft. It is partially covered so if it is raining you can still use the balcony. The outer part has sun for those who like it. This is only on the M class ships. Other than that location and the big balcony I see no advantage in taking any concierge cabin though they are about 20 sq. ft. larger than a regular balcony.
