ordering a crate of drinks before sailing

I seem to remember that years ago you could order a crate of drinks to be delivered to your room, prior to sailing.

Is this still the case?  If so is there any limit?  For example If I requested a crate of Evian, could I have that delivered on the day?

It was a long time ago so I might be mistaken.

But I had another thought.  Could I not stick a crate of drinks in the car and when they unload my suitcases, the could also deliver the drinks to my room?

Yes as long as these are non-alcoholic drinks.

You have to be a bit careful if the crate is scotch. In some cases it may never show up at your room. Many people have complained over the years about their crates being lost in the 'cruise ship triangle'. 🍾

Most likely the Brit equivalent  to what you would call a case. I think I remember something about these non alcoholic drinks needing to be in plastic bottles or cans; not glass.  Or is my memory playing tricks again?
