Oosterdam will be at the CT dock from 1300-2100.

 

Also in port is Norwegian Bliss at the AJ dock from 1430-2300.

 

Tuesday's weather is going to be much like Monday's.  The high will be 49F/9C and the low 45F/7C.  Chance of rain is 90% with light showers in the afternoon.  Sunrise is at 4:51 am and sunset at 8:58 pm.

The pilot onboard the cruise ships used to contact the Juneau port agent via marine radio to advise them they were passing Marmion Island (just inside the entrance of Gastineau Channel). I don't hear them do that anyumore unless I need to pay premium $$$ to hear that

I've not heard much chatter between the ships and shore until they get into the harbor. Maybe when traffic picks up?

It only started raining on the camera - when I tuned in - about an hour ago. I've been watching her move toward Juneau.

There are lots of big drops but don't seem to be adding to them, so they will slide down. 😞

I didn't notice any difference in chatter when I had Premium (I emailed them but have not gotten a response yet).  When I watch them sail-away I sometimes hear them as they leave the Gastineau Channel.
