Cruise Planner - Gratuities

I am going through the cruise planner trying to figure out where I can check the box to include gratuities up front. Did I miss the memo? Did something change?

I assume you're talking daily gratuities and not for an excursion.  Call whoever you booked with and have them add pre-paid gratuities to your cruise.  Then you'll have them included when you make your final payment.

You have to do it at time of booking.  To add it now call whoever you book your cruise through.

They usually are proactive in trying to get you to prepay gratuities.

If you pre-pay it will show on your RC confirmation invoice.

If you prepay your gratuities, you won't be able to use your OBC (if you get any) towards the gratuities.

Because of the rate I got, I don't get any OBC. I/ll just call and add.

You might want to consider for future cruises transferring your booking to a good travel agent, within 60 days of booking, to get 10% OBC or prepaid gratuities.

If a good travel agent can beat the interline I rate I get (airline employee), and offer perks equal to the difference, I will look into it.

I would look into it.  Friends just booked a cruise with me from my TA and got a better rate/perks than the interline rate (airline employee also). Plus got $250 refundable OBC.

Thanks Wine-O. I/m passed 60 days, but I/ll check back with you before I book my next one for the TA info.
