FLL Return flight time, after Allure trip

Recommended Posts

So, I’m waffling on which one to pick...  They all connect to same flight thru ATL to get home.  Wondering which one involves least stress 😊😳😊.    A 9:45am flight with 3 hr layover, 10:45am flight with 2 hr layover, or 11:45am flight with 1 hr layover.  I also do not want to miss flight out of ATL!  Again, we would be coming off Allure in FLL and heading to FLL airport after cruise.

decisions...

Thanks for input.

We just left the Allure with suite walk-off on May 5th. (used valet luggage service)met at 8:00am. in suite lounge

Got a blue sticker to wear so they new we were suite guests.

Left suite lounge at 8:15

Re-grouped in champagne bar.....

Lead by crew member and concierge (Dexter) past the long line of fellow passengers.

Down the escalators..

Lead by dock attendant to front of line to gain access to customs.

(Some guest from regular debark line wiggled into ours, but at one point the attendant noticed they did not have a suite sticker on and made them leave the line and wait in a holding pen until their number came up to leave).

Our line went before the other line waiting to get to customs.

Showed our passports

Agent said have a good day

Off to cab stand

No line

In cab on way to airport.

At airport 8:35am

This was the longest to get to the gate for us.

We had first class seats on Delta, and went in thru priority  line to TSA

But the lines were very long at this time.............

By the time we walked and sat at the gate it was 9:05 am

50min. from suite lounge to gate.

This was the longest time it ever took, because of TSA.

Still not complaining, we got luggage valet, and our flight did not leave till 11:55am

Take care.

What does your suite perk have to do with the question?

Simply that when you are in a suite you have the option to be escorted off the ship by the attendants at certain times.

This helps you get off the ship quicker.

Just providing our experience.

For those not in a suite or non-key the time can be much longer waiting in that long line.

This way the OP can see what worked for us and maybe someone else can post what worked for them.

Sharing my experience since CC is a wealth of knowledge .

Have a good day
