Here is the Updated Suite Amenities List - "Let The Pampering Begin"

Good Morning CC Friends -

My pre-concierge sent the updated Suite Benefits list to us last week and wanted to post here.

No huge changes from prior lists...still includes the somewhat elusive "Pillow" options (yes...we have had it honored on 1 prior cruise to our happy surprise), but I have not seen this specific PDF previously.

Our upcoming Dawn cruise will be our first OS with 2 balconies so having "Wine and Spirit" options is certainly an added bonus. Our last 5 cruises have been in H4s with the Ultimate Beverage Package, but having unlimited mixers, sodas and WATER in the room that come with the OS with 2 balconies will be lovely.

Hope future cruisers find this useful ~ Happy Travels, Amy

I believe these are the perks for OS and above.  While some of the list applies to all Haven suites, ie. pillow menu, coffee & tea, the other things like soft drinks, choice of water and liquor in the cabin are specific to OS and above.  Looking forward to giving it a try sometime 😉

Unless policies have changed, this list is NOT fully applicable to ALL suites (starting with PH suites, and up).

I hope this doesn't get the expectations of others just set up for disappointment.

However, if it now applies to ALL suites, all the better!

To answer the above questions  - the wine / liquor benefit is only for OS and above - the rest of the list applies to all suites. The full list of suite benefits is on the NCl website and clarifies which class of rooms get what.

The wine / liquor list and bottle offering for Owners Suite, Deluxe Owners Suite and garden Villa is independent of the Ultimate Beverage Package - if you are not a drinker, I suppose you could ask for alternatives.

We generally have an H4 and do NOT have unlimited water in the room with the UBP - but do have sodas. We request to have the fridge emptied and fill with a pitcher of unsweetened iced tea and a carton of almond milk.

If you read over the attachment, it does clearly say the alcohol benefit is only for the OSs - it's fine print of course. 😊 3 Bottles of alcohol should not make the difference between booking and not booking a room - to me it's all about the balcony...or in this case the TWO balconies (oh, heaven on Earth)...

Amy,

We stayed in one of the OS w/2 balconies (10506) on the Dawn in November, you will LOVE the two balconies! It is an awesome room. Enjoy!

Wait, so the sodas in the mini-fridge are included if you're in a suite?  I was in an H4 recently and didn't touch what was in the mini-fridge bc I thought there was a charge.  Will be in an H7 in a few weeks and will take advantage of the soft drinks if they are included.  Also, almond milk, huh?  Never thought of that.  I wonder if they will provide a carton of heavy cream upon request?

We were on the Breakaway in a Haven and were not provided sodas.  We don't drink alcohol and in the past were able to trade in our wine for sodas. Not any more.  We were told that it is not allowed anymore.  We were also told that sodas were not provided.  We had the lowest level Haven (no others were available when we booked).

We had the fridge emptied immediately because everything in there has a charge connected to it.

I could not find a copy of the list of amenities on NCI's website.

I found this on NCL's website.  It took a ton of digging to find it.

Additional Amenities

There are select categories of Suite which come with specific additional amenities, too!  Guests booked into any Owner’s Suite or Deluxe Owner’s Suite receive three bottles of liquor from a special menu, along with unlimited mixers, sodas and bottled still and sparkling water.

Guests booked in a Garden Villa receive six bottles of liquor along with unlimited mixers, garnishes, sodas and bottled still and sparkling waters.  The Garden Villa guests will also enjoy private car service at the conclusion of the cruise, to the airport or home if within a 25-mile radius of the port, and will enjoy a private escort off the ship, through Customs and directly to the awaiting private transport.

Here is the link for those who like to go to the source.

Our butler placed soda every day - we always choose the UBP and the butler has never charged us for the sodas in cans.

If you do not have a beverage package, the soda is not free - they will charge you when the butler refills the fridge every day.

Ask and ye generally can receive. I was a vegan for 37 years...just became a pescatarian but still do not use dairy. They have almond and soy milk in cartons - you can ask for a carton of milk and creamer...they will happily load up the fridge for you. If you have odd requests (like oat milk, the newest trendy drink), make sure to ask your pre-concierge for the request 15 days in advance to give enough time to order / stock if available. Amy

Hmmmm...interesting.

We have the fridge emptied as well to fit the iced tea and almond milk, but our butler always leaves 2 cans of diet soda out for our son as a special treat (he is only allowed soda on Fridays and on cruises...parenting! 😌).

100% Agree that the contents of the fridge are definitely not free - and your butler clearly states this when you check in (and it's on the cruise information as well) but we have absolutely never been charged for soda in the room that has been left for our son - we also tend to "pre-tip" our butler to thank them in advance for our week ...this likely helps! Sodas in the mini fridge are not included in the beverage package. If your butler provided you with them and didn’t charge you, that was a special treat! But, it is not standard.

Unless things have changed, this, too, is dependent upon category.

When we've had an OS or DOS, all of the non-alcoholic beverages were free.  We asked our Butler to keep us well supplied with just a few specifics, and not to waste space in the mini fridge with any of the others.  In a Haven 2BR, this was not the case, although our Butler occasionally left a few extra non-alcoholic beverages that he knew we liked (because we also ordered them!).

Yes, you are correct. However, I was responding to the poster who said they were in the lowest level suite and didn’t receive sodas, as well as the OP who stated you get them for no charge if you have the beverage package.

So this is misleading.

As multiple posts have indicated, sodas and mixers are provided complimentary for Owners Suites and above (with or without a beverage package).

Suites below an Owner's suite do NOT get sodas or mixers (with or without a beverage package).

Oh my.

Had to Google "RTFM".

Agree...buyer beware and all of that.

Didn't mean to rile folks up - just wanted to be helpful and post a list of benefits that has a darned clear explanation written on it. Like with all things, there are exceptions to rules (which I think above posters have noted) - no intention to mislead or imply special treatment.

As per another board posting about suites, I'm going to go sniff my stolen Haven shampoo bottle and calm myself down...😟
