QM2 Cruiser Posted June 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Hello everyone, I haven't been able to find an answer to the following question on the forums: Do pre-cruise online purchases, such as shore excursions, stateroom gifts, and specialty dinner reservations, count toward the $300 daily onboard purchasing quota that yield a "cruise day credit" in the Mariner's Society? Ideally, I would like these types of reservations to count toward my onboard purchases so that I receive the extra cruise day credits for each $300 spent. However, if reserving/paying for them online before the cruise means that they won't count, I would rather wait until I am onboard to do so. Any thoughts? Thanks, Brian
msmayor Posted June 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2019 I have always received credit for my pre-cruise purchases made through HAL.
AtlantaCruiser72 Posted June 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2019 I also seem to remember that “free” items received as a booking perk such as Signature Beverage Package and Pre-Paid Gratuities are also counted toward spending credits. I could be wrong however
Rare VMax1700 Posted June 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Although you have paid for them pre cruise, they will still appear on your onboard account as will the payment. They will be accrued towards your spend for cruise day credits.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 27, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Yes -- all pre purchased items except casino chips will count towards your $300 limits.
