Is the Legal Seafood in Back Bay Copley worth going?

I know I know it's a chain.   But how is it?  Worth the price?

 

If it's not worth going, any other recommendations in the area?  Doesn't have to be seafood.

Legal is Legal. 

There are many restaurants in the Back Bay/Copley area. It depends on what you are looking for.

I ate at that restaurant.  It was very good.  Yes, it is a chain--but it has good food.

Legal is great, but we think the standard Legals are overpriced.  We prefer their "sub brands" like Test Kitchen, C Bar, and Harborside.

Most locals don't eat at Legal's but in Boston they do go to Legal Test Kitchen of which there is one in South Boston in the Seaport area.

In the summer time a popular seafood place on the water is the Barking Crab. Something more upscale and really good is Neptune Oyster in the North End.

Try Yankee Seafood. It's about 4 blocks from the dock, about a block from Harpoon Brewery. The two make a great combo, both time wise and price wise.
