FaithPlus1 Posted July 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2019 Stupid question that I didn't think of. Do you need to check in before you can bid (assuming you get invited to bid)?
Rare EllieinNJ Posted July 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2019 Yes. You need to "log in" to your MY NCL. There may or not be a banner inviting you to bid. We didn't have one so had to call NCL and they applied it. BTW we did win our bid.

FaithPlus1 Posted July 21, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted July 21, 2019 Thanks everyone :) Okay look for a banner after logging in, but no email to bid yes? I probably won't get one since I booked 8 days before the cruise, but you never know!
Rare Nclgetawaymenhoney Posted July 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2019 If you just booked it won't show up for 2 to 3 days, plus you must book thru ncl or a ta that participates, in order to receive the notice
Rare mking8288 Posted July 21, 2019 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2019 Unless it's been changed, you do not need to completed OLCI or log into MyNCL account, if you received the email invite to bit - the URL link will take you directly to the booking page on what you can bid for. Bid smartly and if there is a price drop after final payment/penalty - you can & should call in to see you can get a free upgrade and/or OBC (25% of the difference in fares) ... there are threads discussing this here. Good luck !

Then you don’t have to second guess everything.

Actually there is a reason to wait to check in. It may be a bit paranoid, but why leave all that info like your credit card stuff and your passport info out there on the web more than necessary?
