Allure of the Seas returns to Port Everglades

Just watched the Allure return to Port Everglades. Wonder if someone got sick and had to be disembarked.

Radio traffic from pilot boat reported return for medevac. Ambulance was standing by on pier as Allure prepared to dock.

So sad when a cruiser has to be medievaced at a start of a cruise. Hope the person will make a full recovery.

No details were provided.  We were at dinner and noticed that we were headed back to port.  Strange that no announcement was made but may have been because we had only sailed 2 hours before.  I still think the Captain should have made some kind of announcement.

Not a problem.  Too bad about the med Evacs, but I am sure the Allure can speed up to make sure they hit all the ports on time.

They may have limited capability to speed up with the current propulsion problem.
