When I looked at a couple different websites it looked like both of those sail dates have 2 nights in Hamilton. Now I see that the May 11 cruise is listed separately but I still don't know how to easily view the itinerary times. I go to 'explore this itinerary' and have to scroll? The website is also not accurate shows cruising, Hamilton, St George then in another spot, same cruise, cruising, St George, Hamilton. Here’s my June 29th itinerary with times. I’m guessing yours would be the same. I love the 2 overnights in Hamilton.

Would like to do one of these but already have the Canada NE booked... Edited August 1, 2019 by marci22
Avid Travel Geek Posted August 1, 2019 #28 Share Posted August 1, 2019 I'm booked! I have been wanting for a roundtrip out of Montreal and an overnight in Quebec City with no stops in the US. It also stops in France which is very cool! I have one of the aft Junior Suites, cabin 7690. Has anyone stayed in this one or any of the other aft ones and has any feedback? Thanks! We originally booked for May 11 and after receiving the confirmation saw that this cruise date was for 2 nights in St George/1 night in Hamilton so we changed to the May 4 cruise with 2 nights in Hamilton/1night in St George. Scotty G Posted August 1, 2019 #31 Share Posted August 1, 2019 We did this run from Manhattan to Bermuda on Song of America and Nordic Empress several times and the cruises were fantastic since we would stay in Hamilton and St Georges! Only ships of this size can be accommodated there! Another feature was that you did not have to be on board when the ship moved from port to port in Bermuda. One could stay at the local night spots or the casino!

jstraw20 Posted August 1, 2019 #33 Share Posted August 1, 2019 Very much psyched about this! I've done small ships to Bermuda before (Sea Venture was small but groovy) and yes, they have a "smarter" roll than the large ships but it isn't all that bad. We're with you DeadPhish...it was great leaving from the Navy Yard. I guess at least with newer ships, they would need to dredge the river, and the way they operate in Philly I doubt we'll ever see any cruise ships sailing from Phila. There aren't many smaller ships anymore, which is a shame as they would fit and not need the dredging.

marci22 Posted August 2, 2019 #37 Share Posted August 2, 2019 Does anyone know why Studio Ocean Views are more expensive than Ocean Views? Usually by about $250-270pp. What am I missing?

marci22 Posted August 2, 2019 #41 Share Posted August 2, 2019 (edited) If you read Twangster's review everyone should book this ship. If you read cc reviews no one should book this ship. btw would they let both people use their BOGO dining coupons? Im guessing you are trying to book 2 passengers in the studio OV, it will always come up higher. If you check with just 1 pax, you will see the Studio OV is always cheaper than even interiors. Im really not sure why they even allow 2 people to book it, since its never a savings.

Both Philadelphia and Baltimore have long sail-outs to get to open water. RC had a choice, wanting to invest in only one. They decided to go with Baltimore. Philadelphia has always suffered, in modern times, for being roughly halfway between Washington, DC and New York. 21 hours ago, mdwcruises said: May 11 goes to St George first and then Hamilton, the only one doing it in that order. There are car services. No standard shuttles like the ones in Fort Lauderdale, for example. Will you fly in the day of the cruise, or the day before? There are a couple (?) of hotels very close to the airport that do have shuttles to them, if you are staying there. You would still need to get to the port the next morning. Uber. 🙂 I personally would choose Uber, even though I have no idea how much it would cost. I take a limo shuttle up from Philadelphia. 😄
