weluvafrica Posted July 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2019 Can you please tell me if OBC can be used for bingo or in the casino. Thank you
neverbeenhere Posted July 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2019 If you can charge it, it will use up some OBC.
Rare Jeter02 Posted July 31, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2019 OBC can be used for anything. Considered as money sitting on your stateroom account. So anytime you go to the spa at the casino or to the shops or get some drinks whatever it may be when they charge your room the OBC is the money that gets used up first. And once you go through all your OBC then it will be your credit card that will get charged at the end of the cruise.
Steelers36 Posted July 31, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2019 I'd advise leaving this one as answered. ;-)
Lucky TGO Posted July 31, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2019 You could also buy all the Pirates on the ship a mug of rum. 😁 Tony

Thank you If you read the fine print, only refundable OBC (other than military OBC) can be used in the casino. I have never heard of those restrictions ever having being enforced, nor does it seem likely they will be in the foreseeable future. Keywords: seem, likely YMMV
skynight Posted July 31, 2019 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2019 Anything charged to your on board account.
jangor Posted August 17, 2019 #8 Share Posted August 17, 2019 Let me add to Haboob. We are taking a Landmark Sale cruise to Norway with additional onboard credits. We have been told that those credits cannot be used in the casino (no mention of bingo). But since all the credits are lumped together, I am not sure how this would work. I guess they would use military/shareholder credits first in casino, but I really cannot see them refusing to have us spend more money in the casino. Cruise is not until June, so I cannot update until then.

Casino charges to your onboard account will have a code designating them as being from the casino so that no OBC would be applied to those charges. All credits are not lumped together in the ship's computer. Some will be marked non-refundable and others refundable. Non-refundable credits are applied first.
shopgirl151 Posted August 23, 2019 #10 Share Posted August 23, 2019 Has anyone had non-refundable OBC returned to them? Just got off the Crown and had $250 in non-refundable credits as part of my booking from Princess. On my statement on disembarkation day, I had $29.00 left which clearly said non-refundable. To my surprise, received a cheque in the mail today for that amount.

Had to do with some issues I was having onboard.
