hilomelko Posted August 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2019 8/25 breakaway the website gives prices when u click on the sailing but when u select any cabin type it says sold out..does that eliminate hope of an upgrade?????
Rare BirdTravels Posted August 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2019 No. but with just a few cabins left, only the highest bids will win.
zqvol Posted August 16, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2019 It does not eliminate the possibility of an upgrade. Sold out and all cabins occupied are not the same thing. The ship has reached it's passenger capacity, but with 3 or more in many cabins there can empty cabins throughout the ship.

I don't know anyone named "u" but I will answer. Sold out means that there are no cabins CURRENTLY available at the capaciy requested. The key word being CURRENTLY. Many factors could change cabin availability, not limited to... Cancellations TAs returning unsold cabins GTY / SailAway cabins being assigned Other reservations being upgraded IOW, no it does not eliminate anything. Are you bidding on an upgrade ? Or where you offered an opportunity to upgrade ? The bid awarding gate does not close until 2 days before sailing At that point all the dominos should have fallen into place awarding the bids One last ditch effort - at check-in if not blatantly POSTED "Nothing Available" ask if an upgrade is possible. If not back away slowly - no harm - no foul - board in the cabin you picked or were assigned.
