Refrigerators in Rooms on Magic?

I like to bring Cokes on board, so I was wondering if there are small refrigerators in the rooms on the Magic.

They are not refrigerators.  They will not keep your drinks cold and they do not make ice. Rather, they keeps your drinks a little cooler than room temp.

Any ship I have cruised on that had a refer in our room worked well. It kept our drinks nice and cold. We also ask for ice in the room. The ice is made with excellent filtered water. In the morning we always have the ice water.

On the newer ships they are refrigerators, not wine coolers like the old days. When we were on the Magic the drinks in the fridge were brain freeze cold

Yep and as long as you keep the cabinet door open they stay super cold. We bring hot drinks (and wine) on board and they are very cold only by being in the fridge a short time.

On the Vista recently we found that the fridge operated much better, even without leaving the door open- I think someone said they improved the ventilation in the cabinet that holds the fridge? On the Magic a few years back our experience was the same as yours- if we left the cabinet door open the fridge worked much better...

What about the valor? I’m in a balcony my cabin and hoping I have a fridge.

most balconies have fridges

I do not remember which ships they were or what cruise line. I am thinking Celebrity. They had the refer door connected to the cabinet door. When you opened the cabinet door you were also opening the refer door. So no way to open one with out the other opening up.

The Valor has the larger rooms and will have the refers in them.
