WorldofTnT Posted August 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2019 Does anyone know what the plans are for Rhapsody's two week Dry-dock in Europe at the end of October 2019? It appears to be a two week Dry dock. I have not seen any announcements from Royal on the planned changes/Updates. Thanks in Advance! Trey
Clarea Posted August 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2019 Mist likely required periodic marine maintenance and inspection.

squashguy Posted August 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2019 There is a listing of RCI ships to be dry docked in 2019 on an RCI website and Rhapsody isn't included.... I read somewhere else that Rhapsody was last dry docked (for remodeling) in 2016. So, the Host's suggestion that this will be routine maintenance and not refurbishing seems accurate. Ken at the beach Posted August 21, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Vision and Radiance class ships are not part of the “Amped dry docks” Any dry docks during this time that are required will consist of the basic marine requirements as well as general upkeep such as carpet replacement, furniture repair etc.
coaster Posted August 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Hopefully the pool video screen with it's damaged pixels gets repaired along with the fuzzy projection units in the main theater.

smalltimecruiser100 Posted November 3, 2019 #8 Share Posted November 3, 2019 We're on the ROTS Nov 30th. Is it definite a dry dock vs a charter? Brilliance also leaving Tampa is a charter 11/

Did not know they replaced windows. Looking forward to our third cruise in 3 years on her in January. Surprised about the amplification in 2021. If true, Royal seems to be keeping her for awhile Edited November 3, 2019 by coaster

They did take the computers out of the Diamond Lounge & now using part of the Loyalty Desk as a bar at nite for the crossing. Still can't access your account on TV. And there's been a problem in casino from believe Day 2 - points aren't being credited to your account. Not even sure what the problem is but have no idea when it will be fixed. A little quiet in the casino.... NJ

What did you do in Lanzarote and Gran Canaria? Are there lots of activities on board? How is the weather? Thanks!

Doing the crossing next year again too. Guess we like this ship! Weather today is 65, overcast, could be raining. Have done Canaries many times so didn't plan too much. But looking forward to Cococay. There is enough stuff to do on board, depending on what you like. lots of trivia. good crew - very friendly. Have to check again today but there are issues in casino with machines - you can play but your points are not tallied. hopefully fixed so we can play during our six sea days!
