favorite sea day activity on Carnival?

Recommended Posts

I typically do not spend time laying out on sea days due to the crowds - though I may go out early in the morning, grab a drink, read & then pack it in when it starts to get crowded.  I then spend quite a bit of time in the casino, go to trivia when it's a subject I like, relax on the balcony with my kindle, and take a little nap before taking a shower and getting ready for the evening.

Since the OP mentioned non lounger division, my favorite activities are drinking and socializing at a bar, playing trivia for categories I am familiar with (scoring 2 out of 20 on games like Harry Potter gets old fast), playing in the casino, and spending time in the thermal suite on ships that have one.

- Sea day brunch: gotta have my filet mignon and scrambled eggs

- Cigar/bourbon while watching the sea

- Carribean steel drums on the lido. That music makes me relax like no other

- Serenity once I've seen what I want to see at the lido

For me, 90%+ of my sea day is up on lido/serenity until about 4 pm. Trivia is not for me, but I'm really glad they have it. It's great to have activities for different likes around the ship, to reduce the lido clutter.

Port days are still my favorite. 1-2 sea days are just fine, once you get into more, you start to get a bit bored.

Our favorite activity is the Sea Day Brunch.
However, our very favorite thing to do is a non-activity: doing nothing -- lazing on the balcony, watching the world go by!

I would second that emotion, and I am unanimous in my decision. :classic_biggrin:

I am enamored with the blue water. We don't have that where I come from.
