1tuckersmom Posted August 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2019 We are doing the Carnival Legend Panama Canal cruise in October, from the West Coast (San Pedro) to Tampa. The flights are not only cheaper from Orlando for us but the flight times are better as well. Does anyone have suggestions on how to travel the 80/85 miles between the two without renting a car? iahawkfan21 Posted August 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2019 Depending on number of people I’d look at rental car or Uber/Lyft.

CruiserBruce Posted August 28, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2019 Check your cruise. Carnival doesn't usually sail from San Pedro, rather they sail from Long Beach. I agree with renting a car.
JohninDC Posted August 28, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2019 Best is a stretch limo with a stocked bar! 😎 UberX from the Tampa port to MCO will run about $130+ 😨 I would rent a car for under $50 - Hertz and Avis have hotel offices located very close to the port, Enterprise is also close, or about $15+ in an UberX will get you to the TPA airport. Your call!

Thanks for the suggestion. Edited August 28, 2019 by 1tuckersmom
Pyrate13 Posted August 28, 2019 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2019 I know you say you're not looking for a rental car but from one who lived in between the two citiesfor many years, get the rental as others have suggested.
