Is Progressive Check In enforced by Princess?

Good afternoon

I'm off to Queensland for 10 nights on Majestic Princess next week. I recall on past cruises everyone more or less arrived asap to take advantage of all the facilities, get settled, unpack and lunch onboard. My "official" check in time for my deck is very late, 2 hours before sailing. Will they turn me away if I go earlier. I am Elite Level.

Thanks, perhaps I will see some of you onboard 😁

I've sailed on over 25 Princess cruises and have never had the progressive check-in times enforced but none of our cruises have been out of Australia.  I suggest you post this on the Princess board in order that more Princess cruisers - especially those on Australian cruises - see it and provide you with first hand knowledge:  https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/119-princess-cruises/

This happens in Southampton- we've had it with P&O and RCI.

People continue to turn up whenever, and I know of several cases where folk have chanced it, and been allowed to wait in the seating area until there's a lull in passenger traffic, when they've been allowed to check in earlier that what's on the ticket.

As mentioned, ask on both Princess and Australia pages.
