Loved the sense of safety for a place to put phones and money. I really like the idea of this thing, but it looks so bulky. Not sure I would want to pack such a giant thing in my luggage. I wonder if TSA ever has issues with these in checked luggage too.

I have one and it doesn't take up that much room in my luggage, especially since I put my foldable hangers in it and some other small items in my checked suitcase. It works very well!

Rare Sea Dog Posted October 25, 2019 Author #119 Share Posted October 25, 2019 "It's a beautiful day, Don't let it get away, It's a beautiful day - U2 Coco Cay was a perfect day. And look here the balloon is up and running after the hurricane! Harbor Beach Spent first half in the pool sitting at swim up bar. Drank a coco loco which was delightful. I really love the Oasis Lagoon. I could of spent all day here. After taking a few pictures I decided to lock our iPhones in the SafeGo. SafeGo worked great as a place to store our phones and sea pass cards. We tethered it to our lounger and umbrella stand. You can use the 3 digit combination or there is a key. We chose the combination. The plastic coated wire has a notch at the end that clicks into the slot when closing and after putting in 3 digit code you can pull it out to release it. I did have a little trouble with pulling it out if your hands were wet or greased up with sunscreen. If so, use a towel to grab a hold and pull. Now keep in mind if someone really wanted to steal your stuff, simple wire cutters would do it. I like to think of this as a deterrent. I will also add that most places and beaches are very safe to put your stuff without getting anything stolen. I just prefer to be cautious and since I just bought a new $1,000 plus phone I wanted to keep it secure. Later we checked out Chill Island beach. Great clear water and perfect temperature. Then it time for some lunch at the Chill Grill. They had a great selection of eats. I don't have a picture of it but later as I was walking around I found the Snack Shack which had those popular crispy chicken sandwiches that everyone talks about. I thought about getting one but knew we were going to have a big dinner. Then on the other side of the beach rentals and wave hut there is another beach that has the floating bar. Sand was kinda mushy and a lot of sea grass so wading through that to the bar was a little slow but when we got to the ladder the water was only chest high. They had a nice assortment of beers and mixed drinks but no frozen drinks as there was no electricity run to that bar which makes sense to me. After a wonderful time we decided to head back to the ship. A tram which took us around the perimeter of Coco Cay. Trans were great because if you did not use them you would be walking a lot. Here is a video of the tram going around the perimeter. Note the fenced off area that you can't see beyond is the construction area for the Coco Beach Club. Oh and sorry about my stupid stubby fingers getting in the way of the camera. I think I need the Otter box which is wider so I can hold onto the iPhone better. It is very slim and the 3 lenses do take up some room. As we left Coco Cay I could see the Norwegian Sun and their private island. I had no idea they were right next to each other. So it was a Perfect Day at Perfect Day. We will come back this is a fantastic stop. 4
Rare Sea Dog Posted October 25, 2019 Author #120 Share Posted October 25, 2019 IT MUST BE 5 OCLOCK SOMEWHERE Back on board at the Mast Bar deck 16. This is where I got to know Toni (more about him later) a fantastic bartender and great guy and a nice spot to do my whiskey tastings later. This was the only bar on the ship that had Templeton Rye even though it was listed in all the drink menu's. Whats up with that? Templeton on the rocks (More about Templeton in my tasting section) Linda had the Lava Flow made with Kraken Dark Spiced Rum. We got hooked on Kraken and later would order all of rum drinks to be mad with Kraken instead of the house rum. This stuff is amazing! It does taste as good as it looks!! After seeing Linda's cocktail I decided to go frozen. Here is a Love Connection which is a Miami Vice 1/2 Strawberry Daiquiri and 1/2 Pina Colada with a Love Connection on top which is Mango. WOW! This is good. I had them make this with Kraken Rum and Toni put a ounce of Kraken on the top; Now it's time to get ready for dinner. The first of our BOGO package. Tonight it will be Jamie's Italian.
Rare Sea Dog Posted October 25, 2019 Author #121 Share Posted October 25, 2019 DINNER AT JAMIES - IMPORTANT WARNING, FOOD PORN AHEAD!!!!!!! We chose to go to Jamie's first as I have read so many negative reviews but others love it. I figured if it was going to be bad I would rather get it out of way early in the cruise. Boy was wrong. Jamie's was fantastic. Nothing like a 6 course meal to put you into a food coma. Appetizers included the meat plank, shrimp fried rice balls. Main course of lamb chops and lasagna with pastas sides of Creamy Penne Carbonara and Truffle Tagliatelle . Add garlic bread rolls and then split a brownie with cappuccino and expresso. Wow ! I could of eaten a whole plate of the TruffleTagliatelle. These Garlic Rolls were yummy! Sun is about to set and we have reservations at the Aqua Theater.

It was funny seeing people in the hotel with luggage trying frantically to cut, stable and attach their tags to their luggage. I found out about these tags through Cruise Critic and bought them. They are sturdy and won't break off, plus they are reusable. Thanks for the tip! I immediately bought a set. Also loving the "live" review - keep it coming! The more food pics the better!

Rare Sea Dog Posted October 25, 2019 Author #124 Share Posted October 25, 2019 WILL IT GO ROUND IN CIRCLES, WILL IT FLY LIKE A BIRD IN THE SKY - BILLY PRESTON'S "WILL IT GO ROUND IN CIRCLES" The Aqua Theater show "A Fine Line" was amazing even with the high seas. I know a lot of people may not get or like the spinning man but personally I liked it as I can only turn around 2 times and get dizzy and fall over. Now on with the show. The high wire act was incredible. We were sitting right by where the performer got hooked up to all her harnesses and went through a safety check before she gave the thumbs up and was off on her way. I Loved the soundtrack. I wonder if there is a album somewhere? How do these guys do this on a moving ship? Some more action from the show. What a great show now time for a night cap on the Rising Tide Bar. All aboard....Up Please.....(It does move slow) Now that I have gone up, I'm down for the count. Time for bed as it has been a perfect day! IMG_4423.MP4 IMG_4423.MP4
