Let's see how long it's going to take them to open it ...we're on the X-Mas cruise and I'm not sure it's going to open by then.

just kidding.  100% agree with you.  At this point many of us would appreciate a dose of truth and reality from the company.

'Unforeseen operational reasons' (or something similar) was the phrase used when they notified the guests on Mera they wouldn't be docking.

 

Unforeseen?! 😲 The compensation offer was fairly generous, but I have feeling that won't be repeated on all cruises until it's open, somehow.

MSC don't do the Truth as we found out in 2013 on the first Divina Transatlantic!

I was on that cruise…I'll never forget how we were treated on the last 2 days of the cruise….

If Ocean Cay is open, I will be pleased to make a visit to this new private island.  I don't expect the YC section to be open; that's OK.  Not sure that I would want to use that facility from what little I have read anyway.  If Ocean Cay is not open, I will much more enjoy another day at sea, anyway.  (Particularly, since I will need to find the time to pack for disembarkation the next morning in Miami.)
