Seeing there is not La Cucina can you use this in the new Italian restaurant?

No, it read that on Encore you can use it in either Q or Los Lobos, in place of La Cucina or Moderno.

Their wine by the glass choice is quite limited if you have just the Premium Beverage Package.

Only 3 of the 8 Chardonnays by the glass are covered by PBP. Neither of the NCL proprietary East and West blends are.

I counted 53 wines available by the glass; only 18 were under the $15 limit. Wow.

That is terrible, you would think their proprietary would be at the $15 cap.

It was in September! I had a glass of the East & West SB at Le Bistro for no upcharge. The July menus I've got bookmarked show both East & West wines at $9.95/glass. That's a 70% price hike. I doubt the wine is 70% better.

To be fair, the per-glass prices on the other selections is on par with July's price. It's just the NCL wine that got priced into nickel & dime territory. Well, $2.40 upcharge territory.

TBH, if I sail on the Encore, I might need an entire bottle of something to make that 678 Ocean Place lighting fixture bearable. (does it look better in person?)

is there a concierge  phone number or desk for the latitude members who are platinum/platinum plus ?

thanks and i am enjoying your great pictures.

Unlike the Joy, there is not a concierge desk for steerage. I was not given a number (which cruise next sometimes does). I have not asked for one.

I don’t know why I thought only one rider per vehicle so can just my 12yo go by herself?
great reviews love the menus!!!

If your DD meets the minimum height (In photo above), she can drive alone. The photos above show the doubles that run periodically during the day. When you book, it shows you times for doubles and time for solo riders (most of the time).

How was San Juan after dark?    Any recommendations as far as things to do outside of the immediate port?  Safety concerns?

Thanks

 No safety concerns.

Yeah, there is a senior frogs at the dock. Most people ventured well Up the hill into the old city. Safe. But stores start to shut down. Bars are hopping.

Today, the Encore is staying late with a 3000 passenger RCL ship. Lots of passengers and  Lots of crew in the city.

At 8 pm it was 83 degrees and 81% humidity.
