blueridgemama Posted December 6, 2019 #228 Share Posted December 6, 2019 We will be doing the Bar Hop for the first time in February. Would love If you could post the logistics of how you get to the meeting place, taxi fare, amount of time it takes to get there etc. Any info would be appreciated. Also would appreciate input on which bar stop has the best food options. Have a great day!
MrFunInTheSun Posted December 6, 2019 Author #229 Share Posted December 6, 2019 (edited) Princess ship decided to join us today... Maureen and I headed off the ship where we grabbed a taxi to bring us to the Punta Langosta cruise pier where we will meet up with the Cozumel Bar Hop just outside Senor Frogs... Taxi was $4 each. We won’t need a taxi back to ship after the hop as they are very good in getting you back to your ship at the conclusion of the bar hop... Maureen wrestled with one of waiters briefly and then sat in Senor Frogs whilst I went to a nearby store to purchase Fish wind chimes made in China that I forgot to buy back in February on my Symphony of the seas as we were running a little late that day. Didn’t want that to happen this time so we got here extra early. These will help replace the one I bought before but broke... MrFunInTheSun Posted December 6, 2019 Author #230 Share Posted December 6, 2019 Bar hop information about the meet up. A few days before your cruise you will receive a handy dandy email like this with all the important information. Please note this is our meet up time for our particular cruise. Your hop and time may vary depending on your ships visit here in Cozumel... We are FoHo’s! Not just regular Ho’s! Highly recommend the Original Cozumel Bar Hop. They are very reputable and ensure you get back to your ship on time and at your particular pier your ship docked at. Done this many times even back to my days sailing on Carnival many many years ago... Its important you go to and see The “Original” Cozumel Bar Hop as their is an imposter out there that does something completely different... https://cozumelbarhop.com Had to snag a Mexican Coca Cola

Did you walk to the other pier, Not the RC pier and how long it took and was it safe to walk there? Thanks so much. MrFunInTheSun Posted December 7, 2019 Author #238 Share Posted December 7, 2019 Promptly before 11am Tom & Sergio arrived to gather up all the bar hoppers. This trip was a small hop with 12 hoppers. Half were first time ho’s and the half were foho’s! After we were all accounted for and verified next of kin we were on our way. Since our group was small we got the short bus. This is probably only my second with us having a smaller group. Cozumel this day had only a couple ships at port yielding these results... Maureens leg was bothering her this day so took full advantage of needing me to push her up into the bus with my hands firmly on each of her butt checks. Our first stop shot.. First stop margarita’s....

MrFunInTheSun Posted December 7, 2019 Author #241 Share Posted December 7, 2019 It was then time to push Maureen up into the bus and head to our second bar where we were hoping to find Maureen's panties she lost the last time she was here... That theory went out the door when a couple of bar tenders and waiters remembered her and clapped for her because of her memento she left behind and her contributions she made into the “books” showing all coconut high beams and all... Andy got a tad upset over all the attention Maureen was getting and joined in on the drinking... Our menu.... Our welcome shot... We ordered some food... Conch was simply amazing and some guacamole and chips...

I've been hesitant in booking them because of the size and the itineraries. I usually like 8, 9 or 10 nights, but the Oasis class generally only have 7. did you consider a back to back? MrFunInTheSun Posted December 7, 2019 Author #246 Share Posted December 7, 2019 Our 50 minutes was up and it was time for us to move along to the next bar. By this time Maureen was getting extra help out of the bus by our bus driver Juan, let’s just say he had an extra smile on his face by the end of the tour... Menus.... Our shots... Our drinks... MrFunInTheSun Posted December 7, 2019 Author #248 Share Posted December 7, 2019 We made it to our fourth stop Our welcome shots... By this time we both needed to really recycle all the alcohol we consumed. Heres the view one gets whilst taking a leak... Remember this side of the island doesn’t have electricity or running water. My guess is these toilets get flushed once a day with a couple five gallon buckets of water, but when you gotta go, you gotta go... The lion here takes care of everything. There is even a chapel here too, so you can get married. It’s right next door to the bathroom so don’t get them mixed up...
