Heavy bathrobes in the gift shop?

Can anyone verify for me that Princess still sells the heavyweight bathrobes in the gift shop?  We are doing an extended trip on the Golden in March/April and hope to treat ourselves to some decent robes. The ones provided often don’t fit DH and he is not an overweight guy.

They did have the nice fluffy ones on the Coral a few weeks ago in the gift shop.

Another option due to the size and weight maybe purchase online.

maybe consider taking the Ultimate Ship Tour and get a couple of 'free' robes … dunno if it's the same robe ...

I looked in the “gifts” section for our first segment, but didn’t find them available. Realize we’ll need to plan for getting them home, but we wanted to use them throughout the trip. I’ll be the lady in early May walking through LAX with a Princess bathrobe on.

On our UST, we got the thin waffle pattern robes.

We have had to ask for the robes in the gift store as they are not always out for display.

On our October Crown cruise we had the NEW robes...very nice and should fit most comfortably.

If you happen to be in a full suite, you will get a very nice robe supplied in your cabin.  

If not, maybe slip your room steward a $20 to see if he/she can roust one up for you for use during the cruise.  ???

Not in a suite, but this is worth a try. Wonder if he/she could find me a kettle as well. 😉

If you are able to ask for a robe to be used in your cabin and it is a heavy plush one can you ask to purchase and keep it?
