requesting private table at dinner

There are 6 of us traveling together and we would prefer to have . dining table just ourselves.  We have late seating.  Can we request that somewhere online ahead of time, or just wait until we board?

Although I’m sure advanced notice of your preference is preferred, we requested a private table last time when we arrived the first night and it was no problem. It may vary, of course, depending on the ship and how busy your time is.

If you ask for a table for 6, everything should be fine. When you get on the ship, find your table and maybe check with the maitre d’ to be sure it’s a table for just y’all. We’ve never had a problem.

If you booked through a TA they can request the table size.  They actually have to add it to create the booking.

We have used this method several times and have always had our request honored.

In our experience (36 cruises) when we travel with a group of 6 or more we've always been assigned a table for the size of our group.  Shouldn't be a problem.  Make sure all the reservations are linked!

The OP left out some needed detail. Is your group of 6 is on the same reservation? If so, Bob is correct.  You can make your request via email several weeks in advance. If the group of 6 is booked an different reservations, you will need all of the reservation numbers and call RCCL and ask to link the reservations for dining. After doing so the guests on other reservations will need to call and "confirm the invitation". If you used a TA, let them handle it.

Yes, if you are both on the same time of traditional (fixed) dining.
