Back In Miami

We are back in Miami having arrived today after staying at  Disney  World with our  family for seven days.

It has been a couple of years since we were last here.

Much of the construction underway at that time  has been completed.

We did find the location where Perricones was  located near Mary Brickell Village and it is a work in progress.

We see some new buildings one that looks like a rainbow. LOL.

Oceanaire restaurant has been replaced with a different restaurant.

There was a place that would play loud music across the street from Perricones and it is no longer there.

Many places are the  same.

We are at the Four Seasons hotel and this area is pretty much the same.

There is a French cafe which we  enjoyed  for salad and the name has  changed but much  of  the items  are the same.   It is called Grainier.IMG_7912.thumb.jpeg.3af23d88f787308a76c8b233231b4b2d.jpeg

Happy New  Year.

Keith

We will be here for a few days  before boarding Crystal Serenity on January 7.

We love Miami.

Nice report, thank you.

Miami has changed dramatically in the past few years, I think it's a lot better.  Music, arts, sports.  Wynnwood and its outdoor murals, etc.  The Rubell family museum received an enormous acclaim during the recent Art Basel.  New location, huge amount of display space.

Sorry I miss you Keith1010.  I was actually up in Disney World!

Baru was the loud bar across from Perricones and it's still here, just relocated to Mary Brickell Village on the east side back. The beautiful Flatiron building took the place of this and the parking lot.

Oceanire closed back in March 2016 and is now North Italia.

Lot of construction done but much more coming!

It's great that you enjoyed the area again.  There is so much to do around here.

Hope your cruise is amazing.
