Changing cabins on our b2 b .

What does Celebrity require you to do .?

Leave all you clothes on the hangers and in the closet. Pack up all your other personal items. The stateroom attendants will transfer everything to your new stateroom. Remove all your items from your safe and keep them with you including all your meds.

Pack your belongings qnd leave your case in the room. Don't pack anything hung up in the wardrobe though. Your stateroom attendant will then move all of those items along with your case.

The whole process is pretty painless to be honest. They will tell you when are where to meet during the changeover so you can be issued new seapass cards. There is also a meeting you can attend onboard for all of the details and to ask any questions you may have. Don't worry though, the whole process is nice and easy.

I hang up everything I possibly can! Thus less to pack. As stated above your meeting will tell you everything you need to know. You do have to exit the ship, if departing from a US port, and then be escorted back on board before general boarding begins. Happily, at the meeting you usually get a certificate for up to 50% off a specialty restaurant for the first night of you second cruise.

You will find the process quite simple and painless.    You will be invited to a short B2B meeting a couple days prior to the end of your first cruise.    On Turn around day all you need to do is pack up anything in your drawers or toiletries and your stateroom attendant will move them and your hanging clothing to the new room.

Check with your room steward and he will coordinate with the stateroom attendant of your new room to let you into your new room as soon as the previous occupants leave so you can transfer items in your safe.

You will meet with other B2B's in a lounge at a specified time (around 9:15-9:30) and will be escorted off the ship (U.S.) so they can zero out the ship.   You will clear immigration and then will be invited back aboard to continue the enjoyment of your cruise.    As an option you can get a Transit pass and leave the ship to tour but will not be allowed back on until General boarding begins.

I know all experiences are different, but our last b2b change over day was anything but painless. Many issues but the worst was the previous stateroom attendant running down the hall with a sweaty armful of our closet contents and throwing them on the bed in the new cabin. I plan to repack my belongings in my luggage for change over to avoid that happening again.

Uh oh! I’m sorry you had that experience. We’re going on our first b2b next year, and I wasn’t able to get the same cabin for both. The cabins are both midship, on opposite sides of the same deck, so hopefully the very short distance will help. Which ship were you on?

We were on the Infinity, cabins on the same deck, on the same side of the ship but a fair distance apart. We thought we had worked well with the cabin stewards. Going forward I will just feel more comfortable packing everything and just have the luggage moved.
