vie lee Posted January 20, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2020 My Cruise buddy and I are booked on the Golden this summer for a two week cruise out of San Pedro. Her daughter and son-in-law are going to be in Ketchikan the same day we are there. She was wondering if they could come aboard and visit us on the ship. Good question and I have no idea, but I am sure someone on this board will know.

skynight Posted January 20, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2020 No visitors allowed on board or in the terminal. Meet them in San Pedro before you board.

Thrak Posted January 20, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2020 It's Ketchikan - you can always meet up at The Asylum (22 beers on tap) or maybe Bawden Street Brewing. My wife always knows where the brew pubs are in Alaska ports. I dutifully go along with her. 😁
vie lee Posted January 20, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted January 20, 2020 Thank You Thrak for the recommendations - Sounds like something her daughter and husband would like. They are going there with friends just to fish.
Mike45LC Posted January 21, 2020 #7 Share Posted January 21, 2020 There is no way that non-passenger civilians are allowed on the ship anymore. There are some great excursions in Ketchikan. I'd try to find one that everyone would enjoy -- not through the ship, but through a private tour company. Zodiac Wilderness Tour, Lumberjack Show, ...
