Room Service Charge

Just logged in to view my reservation.  I noticed that the room service charge was raised fro 7.95 to 9.95.  Is this a recent change?  It also says a 20% gratuity charge will also be added.  We enjoy ordering room service but it’s getting pricey.

Yes. It’s a recent increase.

Most items are still complimentary but a few select items are ala carte and that's where the 20% is applied.

There is a delivery charge for all food all day except the continental breakfast. The charge is included hot breakfast items.

The food is free. 
 

If you read the OP’s original post #1, there is a $9.95 delivery charge for room service (any amount of food). Just like the delivery charge when you order a pizza to be delivered at home.

Not quite.  There are several 'room service' items you can order that do cost money beyond the 'convenient delivery fee'.

Not aware of newest/specific room service menu for the Joy.  These are generic ones used fleet-wide before the fees were raised, plus 20%. Use it as a guide to see what's typically available 😬
