Hello, we are leaving on Feb 16th and will be on the Allure to St Marten, San Juan and then CoCo Cay----are the seas normally calm in this area and this time of year?

I’ve had good luck then 🙂. But, since I get seasick easily, I always do the earpatch.  DH is fine without it

The seas have been pretty rough for the last 5-6 weeks but have improved a lot over the last week. There were 10-15 ft waves and as much as 25 ft. Check out the link for current seas.   Just click anywhere on map and it will show heights.

Fair  question I normally never sail this time of year and have sailed over 30 times normally late spring or late fall always have had pretty good seas.  But friends of ours were out last week said it was pretty rough had to skip a couple of stops on the western route .  Not sure why he got some rude answers when he just asked a question . Thought that was the reason for this site . Just sayin .
