By the way, after K'dam leaves March 15 for South America and Alaska, it may be a long time before we see her back in Ft Lauderdale.

At least 2 years as she will be alternating between Alaska and Hawaii/Mexican Riviera for the next 2 years. Unless the Ryndam replaces her as the Caribbean/Alaska ship, Koningsdam may stay in the Pacific for quite a while. Hi Roy, Where are you?
travelnap Posted February 2, 2020 #90 Share Posted February 2, 2020 I am not going to wait for Caribbean Princess as she is scheduled to leave after 6. Thanks Kathi and the rest of the sail away addicts. Good Night.

Boytjie Posted February 2, 2020 #92 Share Posted February 2, 2020 I have not been around a lot to watch sail-aways but this caught my eye; I can't recall seeing ships the size of the Caribbean Princess at Pier 4 before. e.

luvteaching Posted February 3, 2020 #96 Share Posted February 3, 2020 I did some looking and it's a Super Bowl 3 night cruise leaving Port Canaveral Friday, Nassau on Saturday, and Coco Cay today (leaving at 5:00) and then back to Port Canaveral in the morning. From flashing lights am guessing it's a medical disembark. It will be interesting to see how long they stay in port.
