Deck 17 Restricted Access

We are cruising in April 2020 on Oasis of the Seas.  My husband and I booked a CL Suite on the 17th deck.  My 17 year old son and his buddy will be in a balcony cabin.  I have heard that unless you have a Royal Suite Class Colored card, you cannot access the 17th floor on the elevators.  Does anyone know if this is true?

This group is a wealth of information about cruising and figured I would start here first.

This may be a bit too late but on some ships, you can not have 2 youths in a cabin by themselves.  One person has to be over a certain age.  Have you checked on this for your cruise?

Hi Don.  It's no matter right now anyway, the other boy's parents had him cancel due to this "thing" going around.  We were able to move our son into our suite and cancel their room they had together.
