PokrChick Posted February 19, 2020 #27 Share Posted February 19, 2020 My Canadian cruise in June dropped $910 over the weekend from when I booked it in November. It's back up about $300 as of today.
barbeyg Posted February 19, 2020 #28 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Just checked pricing on Alaskan cruise in May, and it just continues to go up (Ovation). The Jr Ste is currently almost twice the price we paid.

kruzerci Posted February 19, 2020 #30 Share Posted February 19, 2020 The Bahamas cruises this spring and summer have plummeted ($219-$249 per person) for the 3-4 nights, but that could be less about Corona Virus and more about the fact that they will have three ships doing the routes instead of just two ships. Or it could be a combo.
DISFANS3 Posted February 19, 2020 #31 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Harmony just lowered the price for May, give us a upgrade to a Balcony cabin...
Rare grouchomarx Posted February 19, 2020 #32 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Our Anthem Florida/Bahamas cruise this Sunday is $500 more than we paid for it in January. All suites sold out.
Cruising4theFirstTime Posted February 19, 2020 #33 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Our April 26 sailing on Harmony has been dropping. There are still tons of rooms showing as available, and we already have our GTY assignment. It still hasn't dropped lower than what we paid, but I'm watching and hoping I'll be able to upgrade! MNelson486 Posted February 19, 2020 #34 Share Posted February 19, 2020 I dropped $500 on my ocean view room on the Allure of the Seas med cruise in early June. I also upgraded my other cabin to ocean view for $58 less that I paid. I keep looking to see if there are more changes, but it seems to have stabilized and increased a smidge overnight

I am leaving on the liberty this weekend as well and all of a sudden, rooms are opening up. I am going March 1st on Liberty, and noted the same thing. Except for suites, ( they show sold out) am hoping to Royal Up from JS to RS or OS.
vettecruiser1 Posted February 19, 2020 #38 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Something is causing it. My end of May LOS sailing went down a week ago $600 for a oceanview balcony with an extra $100 obc. Then this week since it was final payment time I checked again and it went down another $1000 but I lost the $100 obc. Oh well orginally booked at $4200 now it is $2650 for 3 people. So I decided to check my Thanksgiving 2020 trip on LOS and we had a oceanview window room and the price of the balcony has dropped to the same price that I was paying for the window so I had it upgraded. I call that a pretty good score. So far i'm not seeing any changes in prices for my booking in 2021.
Rare mitsugirly Posted February 19, 2020 #39 Share Posted February 19, 2020 We booked the Oasis and prices were "decent". Then all of a sudden they went WAY up. Last weekend, they went really low...much lower than when we had booked. I wonder what is causing it?
9olivia Posted February 19, 2020 #40 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Our Oasis June sailing is down about $200 from a few weeks ago.Just upgraded room. However prices for cabanas etc on Coco Cay are still way higher than what I'm hearing on other sailings.
Anet01 Posted February 19, 2020 #41 Share Posted February 19, 2020 I’ve noticed many suites on the sailing out of Southampton that were sold out are now available.
LuCruise Posted February 19, 2020 #42 Share Posted February 19, 2020 I monitor regularly. Our stateroom category is sold out for our Harmony 2021 , but I watch all categories. I'm sure unrelated, but Harmony suddenly went up by a lot. Not sure why the big jump.

Jade currently loitering near Malaysia, no waiting for others to leave the ship on the 27th, extensive medical insurance is advised. NCL just cancelled 2/27/20 Jade Singapore to Dubai, Dubai to Rome available for inside cabin $489 plus port fees. NCL giving full refund and 25% FCC, which for a last-minute inside would have been about $120pp.
Cruzlover7 Posted February 20, 2020 #44 Share Posted February 20, 2020 (edited) Thanks to this post, I checked my Mediterranean sailing in August and it went down therefore, I saved $442.00 on a large OV Balcony. Thank you OP. Edited February 20, 2020 by Cruzlover7
CTCruiser76 Posted February 20, 2020 #45 Share Posted February 20, 2020 For the multiple cruises we are watching - they were down over Presidents weekend, but have since went up a few hundred dollars on Tuesday. The worst part, on our way into work on Tuesday morning, my DH was pricing one of the cruises we have been watching and it was at a price point that we thought was great, so we said we will book it when we get home. After work, we logged into our computer and low and behold, the same cruise went up $300 during the day. Bummed..... couldn't believe they would change the price from 6:30am to 6pm ?!?! tserface Posted February 20, 2020 #46 Share Posted February 20, 2020 All of the cruises we've been looking at (not Asia) have been going up a lot. Perhaps they're jacking the prices of places like the Caribbean and Alaska to compensate for lost revenue elsewhere?

Inconspicuous Posted February 20, 2020 #50 Share Posted February 20, 2020 Just checked and for our March 1st sailing on LOS it's still sold out for all the balconies and suites, only interior rooms remain. Been that way for a couple months now, it seems.
