Sky Princess - Planks and Steamers

Any information about it? Every night or only a few times?  Tasty or just okay?  Planks serving size looks huge! Could you share instead of getting 2 dinners?  Thanks!

During our 28 days on the Sky they were available on different nights but only a few times each.  Sometimes they were advertised in the Patter but one of the waitstaff might be able to tell you in advance about which dates.

We enjoyed Planks, but didn’t try Steamers. Some of the choices were better than others, and the servings were large. We requested the dessert “to go”, and ate it before bed (really good).

We were on for 2 weeks at Christmas, and I only saw it offered a couple of times.  They might have offered it more, but I didn't see it.

We tried Steamers last week on the Sky and loved it.  Very pretty table settings and attentive service.  The clam soup was delicious.  We choose the steam pot with mussels, scallops and kielbasa. It also had potatoes, corn on the cob and green beans. For dessert we had the wonderful old fashioned biscuit style strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream and of course a cup of decaf.  Such a treat and well worth the $12 charge p.p. to us.
