Is US mainland still accepting cruise ships? Do you know how many cruise ships are still looking for a safe harbour. Fremantle seems to be the port for a lot of cruise ships to disembark their passengers. I was surprised to see the Italian ? cruise ship left Fremantle with passengers. Guess they must know they can get back to Italy.

US ports are still open afaik, just entry of certain citizens is restricted. Not sure what's happening to Jewel if they still won't let people off after the denials so far. Further on to the mainland perhaps.
NSWP Posted March 21, 2020 #281 Share Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) Around 600 Aussies are stuck in various South American countries. My son's company has around 200 clients all up from Antarctica expedition cruise on Ocean Atlantic and some on land tours, plus there are other ships with stranded Aussie pax. Apparently next week, subject to Peruvian and Argentine Government approvals the Australian Govt is sending two 747's over to Lima, Peru and Buenos Aires, Argentina to transport these people home. They will have to self quarantine here. Edited March 21, 2020 by NSWP
