Are there English or Welsh school holidays in late November? (I want to avoid any such possibility).

Looking at a cruise and they seem to be offering free child places for the last week in November?

I use this as a guide for school UK hols ....

A lovely sunny afternoon here at 21° it is just right for sitting outside.

We went to our usual restaurant for lunch so I won't be needing anything else to eat today. I just wish that the portions were a bit smaller because I hate waste when I can only eat half of my meal.

A very loud couple made sure that everyone else could hear their conversation which wasn't something that anyone needed to hear.  Someone must have complained because a waitress went and said something to them and they started to talk a bit quieter.

Good afternoon.

It is 16°C and cloudy here.

I hope everyone is having a lovely day.

67* here(feels like 77* according to forcast) and wall to wall sunshine. Feeding the Swans and cygnets at our local lake. Teeming with ducks and geese as well as hundreds of gulls!

My sister & b-I-l (and their 2 dogs) leave for a month in the Loire today

My son is going on an exotic tall ship cruise from Spitsbergen to Sparsvalt tomorrow

I’m feeling left out! 🙂

Have a lovely Saturday everybody

Have you told the gulls not to eat the ducks food. You should, or orft to the naughty step.

A bit cool and grey here this morning with thunder and lightning forecast for later so a day for staying close to home.

I thought that Texco was bad selling Christmas chocolate so early but this just popped into my inboxScreenshot_20240901-102407_Gmail.thumb.jpg.a5c808004b3f3d83c503b76f6945edf0.jpg

Had it serviced, but won't be able to use it. Cheaper to spend 89 days in Spain.  ETIAS permitting.  Cape Verde is warm.

The threatened rain has arrived along with a few rumbles of thunder.  I am hoping for no rain tomorrow because I have had a call from the Monday evening bowling captain asking if I will go and play tomorrow evening.  I  haven't  played in the Monday evening games this year because I decided to cut down on the number of games I play each week.

Morning all ,a bit of a misty start to our day for us .

Anyone else getting fed up hearing about Oasis ?

Even the young kids down our street claim they are massive fans.

I bet they could not tell me three of the flavours they do ?🤔🙃

All have a good day and -Take care .🙂

Misty here too, and yes, fed up about Oasis.  I will quite happily admit that I never listened to any of their music on purpose,  and slightly feel that this mad rush of excitement is for some people just wanting to be part of the 'in crowd'.  In any case, will it all happen, or will they still hate each other next year more than their wish for yet more millions?
