Rare A&L_Ont Posted May 16, 2021 #16451 Share Posted May 16, 2021 (edited) Friday’s jobs. Electricians and plumbers were out to mom’s, thankfully the same company. We laid pipe, for the sump pump and roof down spout. Before. During. After. I had to only patch one sprinkler line. Waiting to do the proper fix after the propane tank and line is prepared for the generator. It isn’t pretty but it isn’t leaking. Final lanscaping will happen in a few weeks. Now the time for the generator placement part of the job. Before. During. After. Propane tank and plumbing happens on Thursday, as well as the pole transfer switch. Stopped at Hank’s for a hot fudge, frozen custard sundae this afternoon. They are ranked as one of the top places in the country for frozen custard. A couple pictures from lunch also, from a restaurant on Conneaut Lake. Chicken Marsala Lighthouse 8

When we stopped for lunch on our travels today, I thought I had gone Back to the Future, when I saw this hanging in the men’s room at the restaurant. It has been a long time since I have seen one of these posters. I think every teenage boy had on their bedroom wall. Was that late 70s or early 80s? I’ll end with this one: Give you loved ones an extra-long hug each night as you don’t know what the mornings will bring. Life is Good. Be kind. Peace Out! They spray depends on what you are trying to accomplish. The spray that was just put on was to kill all growth, basically weeds and grasses. The beans were planted shortly there after. Sometimes we use a broadleaf spray which would kill certain items but not all, comparable to spraying dandelions but just larger scale. BonTexasNY Posted May 17, 2021 #16466 Share Posted May 17, 2021 I was surprised that even though Costco was very busy, with tons of people, I counted only 6 in the store not wearing masks. Jack and I were all set to go mask less but felt it was only right to join the majority wearing them. We detected no signage entering but you know Costco. Entrance very busy with lots of displays. I really am getting hopeful that before we know it, things will be back to normal. Gotta have hope!

They still have their signs up even though Kansas City lifted their Emergency Order and mask mandate. Everyone in the store was wearing a mask but as soon as you got outside people had discarded their masks all over the parking lot. Come on people! At least pick up your own trash.

Thank you so much. I am really proud of him and he is a good kid. I feel bad that he has to wait to get his graduation present till November 7th when we cruise on Explorer hopefully out of San Juan. It will be his first. He has said he is really excited about it. I hope he will get the bug like Linda and I do and join us on many more. Thanks again, Greg Sea Dog

I’m doing the outside sills and screens while Lisa is doing the glass both sides. Almost done the main level. I did our windows last week. When I was done, or thought I was done I realized I missed 3 windows in one of the spare bedrooms. Still havent got back to it yet. Do you have the tilt windows for your double hungs? I love ours makes it so easy to do both sides from the inside.
