Yes I do but I don’t know her last name. Pam was the hostess on the Gem in the breakfast/lunch dining room for the Haven. She was just wonderful. Two years ago I walked into the Haven dining room on the Escape and she said, “Miss Bonni, it’s so wonderful to see you!” She then told me that one of the waiters was there too, I believe that it was Ernie. They treated us like long lost friends all week

NCL has such awesome crew on their ships. Unfortunately, I am not good at remembering their names.

A few that I do remember are Victor who was our room steward on Dawn when we were cruising for my 50th birthday. After he saw the decorations my husband put up for my birthday, he made sure it was special. He arranged for a bottle of wine and gourmet cupcake to be sent to the room from the hotel director. He did an excellent job keeping our room clean and ice bucket full. It was the cleanest cabin we ever had out of 18 cruises.

Our best towel animals came from Junemar. He enjoyed the challenge of coming up with animals we had not received before.

Another crew member, whose name I can remember, was Christian who was a server in O'Sheehans on Gem. Very efficient!

We always feel at home on NCL ships, and that is due to the crew, We have also cruised with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. These lines have similar service, but we just don't get the same vibe from the crew.

I have a few, all from the Bliss.

Rod - he was the solo host on my first Bliss cruise, and was still there for my second but wasn't the solo host

Una - solo host for my second Bliss cruise but also great as part of the entertainment staff.  I tried sending a message to her on FB shortly after the cruise but she didn't reply.

Jake - EXCELLENT CD on my second Bliss cruise

Silas Cook - another good CD, from my first Bliss cruise

Actually, most of the entertainment staff from the second cruise were good.

3 Bartenders come to mind. Rommel ( Shot O'Clock), Clarence (Chocolate Cowboy), and Jonathan (Bong). Meet them on the Escape and sailed again with them on the Bliss

Bong was fun, I only met him once but got into a great conversation when I laughed at his name and apologized - he is named after a famous actor - not what a Canadian would call a Bong

We were on the first 2 sailing on the Bliss and the level of service in the Haven bar & restaurant was AMAZING. Chef Nicholas' special treatment will always be remembered. We went back in Sept and most Haven staff remembered our name.

What amazed me was in March 2019, I sailed with a friend (non-haven) and Chiang from Cagney's, Lilibeth from Ocean Blue & Kiren (Assistant F&B manager) all asked where hubby was (by name)

As much as Corporate shenanigans irritate me, the ship crew have always made the sailing fun, enjoyable and memorable

Very true.  While they didn't remember me by name, both Rod (previously mentioned) and the Asst. CD did recognize me on the second cruise from the first one, but it was also only 6 months later.

Carey the Hotel Director on the Pearl. It was always a good feeling when he was in charge.

Parmann our room steward on our Panama Canal trip on the Pearl. What a hard worker

and an all around nice person.

I did my first solo cruise in Oct 2017 on the little Sun.  I love the Sun.  When I wanted a glass of wine, the only alcoholic beverage I enjoy, I went to the bar in the Atrium Cafe. I met a lovely bartender, Sachin, from India.  He was always so nice and welcoming and knew exacty what I wanted after only a couple of visits to his bar.

I took a cruise on the BA, June 2019, and guess who I met at O'sheehans.  He looked at me... did a double take... and smiled... he remembered me from the Sun. We had a great time... I met some wonderful new friends and will always be on the look-out for Sachin. He's one of my favourite crew members.  I hope he's doing well and would love to run into him again on any of my future cruises.

Cheers Sachin.. xox

Several years ago, we went on an Alaskan cruise on the Jewel. Putu was our housekeeper. He kept the room spotless and was always friendly. A few years later, we were on a TA on the Star in a suite. We bumped into Putu in the hallway and he remembered both of our names! Turns out he was our butler for the TA trip. He brought us so many snacks we had to tell him to stop bringing so much.

Klaus Lugmaier now the Regional Vice President Fleet Hotel Operations at Norwegian Cruise Line.

He was the best on the Dawn Southern Caribbean cruise we sailed on.

Also Anoop our concierge on one of our cruises.

On our first cruise ever with NCL on the Sun we bonded a lot with a cruise staff named Alvin Quiniano from the Philippines.

He was so awesome on everything, made a great friendship quickly. This was years ago we still talk from time to time on facebook.

Never again made a true connection with any staff on a cruise.

So so many! We got off the Epic on March 8th after enjoying seeing some folks from prior cruises and making new friends, hoping to see them again on our May cruise from Barcelona, which is not meant to be.

There were lots of casino friends - Marie, V, Evoid, Hali, Coco (who we've seen on three cruises now), so many. And one of the hosts from Taste who remembered our names all week. We loved so many of the crew on the Epic. I hope they are all well. Several of them were close to going home - I hope they have been able to.

On our last cruise on the Jewel last year, we really got to know some of the staff - had such nice conversations when I got to play cards by myself with the dealers.

I have enjoyed meeting the crew and talking with them so much.
