I just happened to go onto Carnival.com and see I had an upgrade offer...  Can you believe going from an inside cabin on the 2nd level to a balcony on the 6th level for only $90?!?!?!  Now lets just hope the Glory goes out as planned in September!!

Where do you look for an upgrade offer?

I found it on the same page that the count down is found, in the "Before you Go" box.  It was right under my to-do list.  I had one there a few months ago, but it was like $300 to move up 2 floors to another inside cabin next to a utility closet....  🙂

i got one on my august sailing $89 but i dont consider it an upgrade fairy unless its free

I've met her too and she's ridiculous.  I have an OV for two in a location I like.  She thinks I might want to upgrade to a balcony for over $750.

That's a heck of a deal.  Congratulations on the great offer!  I have a cruise in September too, and I hope they all sail.

Congratulations. We got an great upgrade offer on the Horizon. From an OV on deck 2 to a family harbor aft balcony on deck 2. Didn’t take too much thought, we took it. Our offer was from an e- mail.

I think I had a visit from the same fairy a while ago.  Got an upgrade (yes I know it's technically an upsell) from a balcony to an extended balcony on an 7 day cruise for $60.  I am keeping my fingers crossed for September!

Thank you for the information, I didn't know to look for one on the Carnival page.  I'll keep my eyes open from now on!  I'm happy today though, got a $100 price drop on our October 2021 cruise.

The 6th floor on Conquest Class ships can be a gamble if you need it quiet to sleep. Make sure you look what is directly under your cabin. The Disco, Piano Bar, casino stage where the band plays, etc are all on 5 and sound and vibration is heard/felt one deck up. I've passed up free "upgrades" because to me they weren't worth it.

Yes upgrade fairy talked to me once but it was  a $900 upsell.i don't even bother I'm fine with what I book.

You will be spoiled rotten! Extended balcony is great especially for tall people. My legs had somewhere to go!

That's a good deal!  She's been busy!  Not only is our upcoming (hopefully) cruise the first one we've ever gotten an offer, we got two in one day. The first offer was an upgrade from our balcony cabin ondeck 6 to deck 9 for 19.00.  The second one offer was to  deck 19, Cloud 9 Spa balcony for 38.00.  We're supposed to be sailing at the end of August, but who knows if that's going to happen.
