my closest MGM property is MGM National Harbor, near DC.

thx

I’ve just gone to the M Life desk at the Casino and told them my Celebrity/RCCL status and pulled up my account showing my status on my phone and then they status match me on the M Life program and print me out new M Life cards. Super easy!

I've done this for my RCI/Celebrity status match. I don't gamble enough to have Blue Chip status to match. But Elite = Gold is nice!

But, you contact M-Life. I believe your Blue Chip identification is the same as your Captain's Club? But tell the M-Life rep you want to match your Blue Chip on Celebrity. They do these matches all the time. Unless something has changed, you have to pick your cards up in person, although you should be able to download your Platinum card into the MGM app, so you might be able to skip the line full of mortals to actually get your card. Match over the phone! You do not want to risk an hour in line trying to do the match in person, or check in at the "all others" line! And Platinum "may" be high enough they just go get your cards for you when you check in (in the special line)...

This.  Just go up to the MLife desk on any of their properties.  You can either hand them a printed screen shot of your status page, or just pull it up on your phone.  Took all of 3 minutes.

M-Life. Are you already a member? There should be a phone number on your card, but it looks like M life Rewards Member Services. 866.761.7111.

The Mlife status match is to your Captain's Club level not your Blue Chip Club tier level.

That's what I thought as well, but I don't gamble enough to get those type of offers. And they are NOT on the internet for the general public.

What type of offers? I'm not clear what you're referring to.

Casino to Casino. I've never seen a Blue Chip to M-Life match offer. I don't know if that's because they don't exist, or because I'd never gamble at a level to get an invitation to match. I've only matched my Captain's Club level (actually I think it was Crown & Anchor).

Kind of like "Global Services" on United. Or some of the crazy credit card "by invitation only tiers".

I have heard about people getting offers between the two companies who had not tier matched, I assume to get them to try the other brand. I have never gotten a Celebrity offer from MLife before or after tier matching and I've been with MLife (or its predecessor casino club) since 2004. Vice versa I've never gotten any MLife offer from Celebrity but I was always already an Mlife member by the time I started cruising with Celebrity.

Two ways - either go to the desk at the next MLife property you visit and show them proof of your status, or call the MLife desk and explain what you want to do - they will ask you to email you a copy of your status.  If doing the latter, when you get to the casino just go to the MLife desk and they will print your new card.

We have occasionally gotten offers but they are never as good as we can get from using a good TA.

Can you show them a Celebrity room card with Elite on it ? (or Royal with Diamond?)

If it has your Captain’s Club number on it or whatever your Royal number is then that should be enough.

I recently got something from Celebrity that said I was Pearl with their Blue Chip.  However, I'm also Elite with CC so am I Pearl or Gold with MGM?

Elite would match to Gold with Mlife as per the chart I posted further up this thread.

Is it possible to find a chart anywhere where one could see all the benefits he or she can get with its status? I mean its not like I cruise every weekend or smth lol but I am sure that those who travel quite often must have asked themselves a questions - what are the actual benefits am I getting sticking up to this particular cruise company?

That's what's confusing me.  Celebrity knows I'm Elite.  So why would we have gotten this e-mail last week?  And if they don't know, exactly what happens when I go to an MGM property and try to get matched to Gold?  It's even more confusing because we do go to Vegas frequently and we are considered Sapphire there....so which of the 3 tiers are we?  Sapphire?  Pearl?  Gold?

"At Celebrity, we share your passion for travel and the excitement that you enjoy in the most distinguished casino at sea. During these unprecedented times, we wanted to update you on some recent changes made to the Blue Chip Club Casino Loyalty Rewards program.

It is our pleasure to advise you, based on the most recent qualification period of July 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019, you have earned a higher status in the Blue Chip Club.

Congratulations, you are now a PEARL member. Visit celebrity.com/bccbenefits to find out all the ways your Blue Chip Club loyalty tier rewards you as a PEARL member. "

If you do a tier match from Captain's Club Elite with M-Life, you'll be Gold with M-Life. Without the match, you're Sapphire (entry level) and you're Pearl (entry level) with Blue Chip, which doesn't impact any of the others. The Blue Chip status is separate from your CC tier. The status match to M-Life has to be renewed every year (I think I've had them give me two years once) as it goes with M-Life's qualification year, which I believe is September to September.

Unfortunately, Blue Chip also uses Sapphire, but for one of their higher tiers, and M-Life uses Pearl, for their second tier.

Are you talking about Captains Club status benefits or MLife status benefits?  Actually the answer is the same - the benefits are listed on their websites.

As others have said, the match is from Celebrity Captain's Club status to mLife status.  BCC is irrelevant.  You call the mLife number posted above.  I did this without ever wagering $1 in a Celebrity casino.  The mLife phone rep put me on hold for a few minutes and called Celebrity to verify status.  (This was in pre-Covid days when phone reps were less busy.)  I matched Celebrity Elite to mLife Gold.

The next possible step (not discussed above) is to match from your new mLife status to Hyatt.  My MGM Gold matched to Hyatt Explorist.  The MGM to Hyatt match is all done online.
