Today's sunrise is from the same trip as the photo from my cousin's farm.  I returned from Montreal August 27-28, spending the night August 27 in Poughkeepsie as the train to New York arrives too late for a reliable connection to Baltimore.  This sunrise is from Poughkeepsie August 28, 2015:

This merry-go-round brings back lots of memories for me including when our children who were very young rode on it.  Of course it wasn't so early when we would take them so no plastic covering up everything.

Today's sunrise is from a 2012 round trip transatlantic, New York to Southampton on QM2 and returning on Crystal Symphony from Dover.  August 29 was the first morning out of New York.

I have a sunset today rather than a sunrise.  It's from my 2016 Crystal Serenity Northwest Passage cruise.  August 31 was a sea day from Cambridge Bay to Pond Inlet:

I got pretty bullheaded about getting a sunrise for as many calendar days as possible.  This is from a parking garage near the mall where I walk 2 years ago;

Here in Maine - heard on the news yesterday that Bar Harbor which had instituted a 1000 passenger limit a few years ago will now probably vote on making that 3200 a day - guess business are really hurting due to the limit. Residents who aren't in the visitor support business hate the cruise ships and tourists but...   Time will tell.

As @KenzSailing would say, here’s a little non-Crystal food porn to help get this off-topic thread back off topic!

This will coincide with the photo of the Golden Gate Bridge I posted on Monday. We took the ferry from SF to Tiberon (Marin County near Sausalito) for a delicious Labor Day weekend lobster brunch.
Photos are lobster corn soup, lobster ceviche and lobster pasta. 🦞
