bafinegan Posted August 7, 2020 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2020 It's looking like masks will (probably) be required at all indoor venues ( except dining) to include the casino. Wonder how the casino will handle the smokers and those "free" drinks while playing? baf

That's how the Atlantic City casinos are doing it right now.

Rare lazydayz Posted August 7, 2020 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2020 At the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa, there is still drinking and smoking. As long as you are seated, you can take off your mask to drink, eat or smoke.
Sunseeker810 Posted August 7, 2020 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2020 Foxwoods is no smoking, but drinks are being served.
Sand and Seas Posted August 7, 2020 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2020 Las Vegas is allowing masks off for smoking/drinking only. Saw a few that seemed to think they could just keep their chin covered but most were good with wearing masks. In Las Vegas there was plenty of room to spread out machines. On the ship there won't be room for that. They will probably need to turn off at least every other machine. I would think they would also make the casinos 'no smoking' to increase the safety as they don't have the space to spread out like a land casino. Elevators were marked for 'social distancing', but we tried to wait for an empty one. (It was during the week and not at all crowded). Had to use an elevator for a 32nd floor room. On the ship we will continue to try to use stairs as much as possible. I wonder if they will try to make stair sets 'one way'.
memoak Posted August 9, 2020 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2020 Does anyone really think cruising will start without a vaccine and the cruise lines requiring proof of vaccination?

For my DH and I, we will want a vaccination before we cruise. It will be interesting to see if CDC will allow US cruising before that is available. That hasn't stopped us from re-booking our cruises to dates further out. NCL's Casinos at Seas has been very good working with us to move our four comped cruises to dates that we hope will be safe sailing. I would hate to think we could never sail again. A Stella would be harder to deal with though.

I was hoping it would be converted to a drinks anywhere, but this will work😁😉 baf
Shorty26 Posted October 15, 2020 #11 Share Posted October 15, 2020 Does anyone really think cruising will start without a vaccine and the cruise lines requiring proof of vaccination?I think is how it’s going to happen. That’s why we booked our cruise for next August. Figure they’ll have vaccine by then. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
si4444 Posted October 27, 2020 #12 Share Posted October 27, 2020 I think a mask with a built in straw will be invented for us.
