Where was I?

Recommended Posts

Sydney has lots of rock pools.....

Would you believe... only been to Sydney Twice

First time   rode on the Hydrofoil to Manly and the opera house wasn't finished

Last arrived and left on the same day on the Indian Pacific

we saw the opera house and had lunch at doyle's at circular quay

No, not Carnaby St, but it is in London.

That was my first thought but, strangely, I have no idea why as I have never been to Carnaby Street and don't recall having seen that clock. Weird.

Correct.

One of those gems you come across unexpectedly when wandering around cities.

I found it  after Lyndarra had named it, in our photos with St Pauls and The Cheese Grater in the background. Our photo was taken from the old Routemaster bus.

Thanks. It was the only other London street I could think of apart from the one my cousin lives in but it has no clock. Stand by.

I would say you are at Broome.... looking at a sunset

while stand on mud flats due to low tide..

Did the pilots look after you with sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres as the sun finally sets silhouetting the Broome Peninsula whilst glistening off ripples in the tidal floor.

Sounds wonderful Don

You are correct. Hovercraft in Roebuck Bay.

We did the dinosaur footprint and sunset tour including the champers and goumet snacks. As it was just before Christmas we also had chocolate dipped strawberry Santas. Yum. It was the wrong time of the year for the Stairway to the Moon sunset.

I should mention that it's not a mud flat at all, in case anyone is wondering and may decide they don't like standing in mud. You are really standing on clean sand. I was surprised myself and took a photo.
