Nobby's?

Nearly, but close enough. Newcastle Beach - Nobby's is on the other side of those rocks, infamous for playing host to Pasha Bulker.

Photo was of Grand Princess approaching Newcastle Harbour yesterday morning, taken by local surf legend Dave Anderson. I did see some bits of the ship from work yesterday, but would have loved to have been there.

Some of the first photos I took on my new Nokia phone was of the Pasha Bulker. It looked massive, even from streets away, towering above the landscape. Made one wonder why was this huge ship in the city.

Dave Anderson surf reports, I think he still does them.

Stand by for new pic.

Yes, early mornings on ABC, at least.

PS: This is the caption that went with the photo. Yes it is the ship, but not a correct description of the photo.

"The Princess cruise ship docked in Newcastle this morning"

Not that I want it back so soon, but it is an iconic shot.

Maid of the Mist below Niagara Falls

Yes thats it. The Maid of the Mist boats are now electric and fully recharge while unloading/loading passengers.

Juneau?

Think a popular excursion from another Alaskan cruise port.

Looks like majestic Canada.  I agree.  Perhaps White River?

Not quite in Canada. Close to Canada, but not quite.

White Pass, out of Skagway

It sure was a White Pass Mic. All the way up the climb to Fraser (in Canada) there was snow and a carload of Aussies loving it. A really beautiful experience, holy ship, over 11 years ago when our dollar was king.

All yours!
