As I was taking the arrival photo, an Army vet next to me said he thought that Qaqortoq was the capital of Greenland.  I said I thought it was Nuuk.  A Marine heard us and said we were both wrong.  He said the capital of Greenland was "G".  (kssh)

Ha Ha.

 

You are correct that Nuuk is the capital of Greenland. Its old name was Godthab, so the Marine was correct - in old way.

 

We're booked on NCL Star Iceland and Greenland in July 2022 (roundtrip from Reykjavik) so I've done a bit of research.

 

Great photos, got me very excited!
